CRABS OF KUWAIT

If we live out our span of life on the earth without ever knowing a crab intimately, we have missed a good friendship

They always advise postgraduates student to pick a project that really likes and enjoy working with because they will stick with it for a few years or sometimes even longer! It is very wise advice, and I was lucky enough to study crabs. They are truly very interesting creatures by all means, not only for crab biologists but also to the general public as well. It is hard to miss their mounts on the shore and ignore how they wait patiently to emerge from burrows to feed. They are very curious creatures with very interesting personalities and they are really fun and wonderful to watch. I am fascinated by their wide diversity as they come in different sizes, shapes and found in aquatic and terrestrial environments. Not to ignore how amazed I am by their reproductive strategies, feeding adaptations, competition behavior and more. In this section, I have gathered some useful information and resources for researchers and students. Also, you could find a photographic collection of some of the crabs found in Kuwait and those elsewhere!
